Our Materials
Our Materials
At ATI JEWELRY, materials matter. We choose our jewelry components with attention to comfort, durability, everyday wear, and a refined finish that feels polished without being overly delicate.
This guide explains the main materials, finishes, and components used in ATI JEWELRY pieces, so you can shop with more confidence and understand how to care for your jewelry properly.
Please note that materials may vary by product. Always review the individual product page for the most accurate details about a specific piece.
Our Material Philosophy
ATI JEWELRY is designed for modern everyday styling. We focus on pieces that feel beautiful, wearable, and easy to include in your daily jewelry wardrobe.
Our goal is to offer jewelry that balances elegance, comfort, and practicality. We pay attention to how each piece looks, how it feels on the body, how it layers, and how it can be cared for over time.
We do our best to describe materials clearly and honestly, because customers deserve to know what they are wearing. Apparently this is now considered revolutionary. We are coping.
316L Stainless Steel
Many ATI JEWELRY pieces are made with 316L stainless steel, a durable and widely used jewelry material known for its strength, smooth finish, and resistance to everyday tarnishing.
Stainless steel is a practical choice for jewelry because it is strong, low-maintenance, and suitable for many everyday styles.
316L stainless steel may be used in chains, charms, findings, clasps, earrings, bracelets, or other components depending on the design.
While stainless steel is durable, it is not indestructible. Jewelry can still be affected by impact, friction, improper storage, harsh chemicals, chlorine, salt water, cosmetics, perfumes, and long-term wear.
Gold Finish
Some ATI JEWELRY pieces are available in a gold finish or 18K gold finish.
When we use the term 18K gold finish, it refers to the colour and finish of the piece. It does not mean the item is solid 18K gold unless the product page clearly states that it is solid gold.
A gold finish gives the jewelry a warm, polished look while keeping the piece more accessible and practical for everyday styling.
To help preserve the appearance of gold finish jewelry, we recommend keeping it away from harsh chemicals, perfumes, lotions, cleaning products, chlorine, salt water, and abrasive surfaces.
Steel Finish
Some ATI JEWELRY pieces may be available in a steel finish, which highlights the natural silver-tone appearance of stainless steel.
Steel finish jewelry has a clean, modern look and is easy to style with both minimal and layered jewelry combinations.
Because stainless steel is naturally durable, steel finish pieces can be a strong everyday option when cared for properly.
Crystals and Stones
ATI JEWELRY may use crystals, stones, glass details, zircon, beads, or decorative accents depending on the design of each piece.
These details are selected to add colour, shine, texture, and softness to our jewelry.
Crystal and stone colours may appear slightly different in person due to lighting, photography, screen settings, natural variation, and production batches.
Stones and crystal details should be handled with care. Avoid dropping, hitting, scratching, pulling, or exposing them to harsh chemicals or abrasive surfaces.
Charms, Chains, and Findings
Jewelry is made from many small components, and each detail affects how a piece looks and wears.
ATI JEWELRY pieces may include chains, clasps, jump rings, charms, pendants, beads, extenders, earring backs, connectors, and other jewelry findings.
We pay attention to the size, proportion, finish, and function of these components so each piece feels balanced and wearable.
Because jewelry components are small and delicate by nature, they should be handled gently. Pulling, bending, twisting, or forcing clasps and rings may damage the piece.
Hypoallergenic Jewelry
Some ATI JEWELRY pieces may be described as hypoallergenic.
Hypoallergenic jewelry is designed to reduce the likelihood of irritation for many customers, especially when made with materials commonly considered suitable for sensitive skin, such as stainless steel.
However, no jewelry can be guaranteed to be irritation-free for every person. Skin sensitivity can vary depending on allergies, body chemistry, product care, moisture, sweat, cosmetics, and individual reactions.
If you have known metal allergies or sensitive skin, please review the product details carefully before purchasing.

Water and Sweat Resistance
Some ATI JEWELRY pieces may be described as water resistant or sweat resistant.
Water resistance means a piece is designed to handle some everyday exposure better than highly delicate jewelry. It does not mean the jewelry is waterproof, indestructible, or suitable for all water conditions.
Exposure to chlorine, salt water, hot tubs, soaps, shampoos, perfumes, lotions, cleaning products, and harsh chemicals can affect the finish and longevity of jewelry.
For best results, we recommend drying your jewelry after moisture exposure and storing it properly when not in use.

What “18K Gold Finish” Means
When a product is described as 18K gold finish, it means the piece has a gold-tone finish inspired by the warm look of 18K gold.
It does not mean the item is solid 18K gold, gold-filled, or fine jewelry unless the product page specifically says so.
We use this wording to describe the appearance and finish clearly while keeping the product information honest and easy to understand.
What “Stainless Steel” Means
When a product is described as stainless steel, it means stainless steel is used as a main material or component in that piece, depending on the design.
Stainless steel is known for durability and everyday practicality, but it can still show wear over time depending on how it is used and cared for.
To help keep stainless steel jewelry looking its best, avoid harsh chemicals, store pieces separately, and clean gently with a soft dry cloth.
Care and Longevity
The way jewelry is worn and cared for can affect how long it stays beautiful.
To help preserve your ATI JEWELRY pieces, we recommend:
- storing jewelry in a dry place when not in use;
- keeping pieces separate to avoid scratching or tangling;
- avoiding perfumes, lotions, oils, cosmetics, and cleaning products;
- removing jewelry before swimming, bathing, or using hot tubs when possible;
- drying jewelry gently after exposure to moisture;
- cleaning with a soft, dry cloth;
- avoiding pulling, bending, twisting, or dropping delicate components.
Material Variations
Small variations may occur between pieces due to production batches, photography, lighting, screen settings, and the nature of jewelry components.
Colour, shine, stone tone, chain texture, and finish may appear slightly different in person compared to photos shown online.
We make reasonable efforts to display our products as accurately as possible, but every screen shows colour and detail differently. Humanity invented high-resolution screens and still cannot agree on beige, so here we are.
Product Page Details
Because each design may use different materials or components, the product page should always be your main reference for a specific item.
Product pages may include details such as:
- metal type;
- finish;
- chain length;
- bracelet length;
- extender length;
